A happy man, lord of himself thought not of a lands; A happy man's life is free from servile bands.
He is the man whose passion not governed; He is the man whose life is rum-ours freed.
Who offers God late and early pray; Who worships God for his grace to lend;
Who enjoys harmless days; with a well chosen book or a friend.
Whose passion are not his master; Who is united with worlds care.
Who always spend in life in depth; Whose soul is ever prepared for death;
Who doesn't serve another's will; Whose truth in his utmost skill.
Who has no hope to rise of fear to fall.
He is the man whose passion not governed; He is the man whose life is rum-ours freed.
Who offers God late and early pray; Who worships God for his grace to lend;
Who enjoys harmless days; with a well chosen book or a friend.
Whose passion are not his master; Who is united with worlds care.
Who always spend in life in depth; Whose soul is ever prepared for death;
Who doesn't serve another's will; Whose truth in his utmost skill.
Who has no hope to rise of fear to fall.
